Premium: Setting Authorization for Boards

In the Docswave Premium Service, you can use a maximum of 30 boards. You can also use the organizational chart to authorize certain individuals and departments to access each board.

This function allows you to create a variety of boards for different purposes. You can customize authorization to utilize boards.

Setting Board Authorization

(1) Go to Admin menu > Board Mgmt.

(2) Click the ‘Select’ button of the board available for setting authorization.

Board authorization can be set for all boards except for five basic boards.

(3) By using the Dept tab or the Org Chart of the Select member tab, choose the department or member to allow access.

  • If selected from the Dept tab: If there are changes to the department’s members, authorization will automatically reflect the changes as well. For example, if a member named James Smith is transferred from the planning team to the development team, he will no longer have access to the planning team’s board. Instead, he will automatically have authorization to access the development team’s board.
  • If selected from the Select member tab: The selected member can continue to use the board regardless of his/her department.

(4) Complete the setting process by clicking ‘OK.’.

Boards with customized authorization have the button ‘Select’ in a dark color, not ‘All..

Modifying Board Authorization

(1) Go to Admin menu > Board Mgmt.

(2) Click the ‘Select’ button of the board available for setting authorization.

(3) Modify the selected department or user’s authorization, then click the ‘OK’ button.
